Policy as of 2026 May 14

Bright Light Veterinary Eye Care is committed to the health of humans and animals. The Canadian Veterinary Oath states“As a member of the veterinary medical profession, I solemnly swear that I will use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society.

I will strive to:

  • promote animal health and welfare,
  • prevent and relieve animal suffering,
  • protect the health of the public and the environment…”

Dr. Amber Labelle and her team are deeply committed to the values espoused in the veterinary oath. In keeping with this commitment, we provide a practice environment that protects the health of animals and people.

If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. There will be no cancellation free charged for appointments rescheduled due to illness.

Consistent with the policies of City View Animal Hospital, please phone the hospital on arrival. Masks are welcomed. Our staff will wear masks if you choose to wear a mask. Masks can be provided to you free of charge. Curbside care is available for any patient and client in lieu of entering the exam room.
